Creating a showcase and managing your website effectively is key to presenting your services, events, or projects in a clear and engaging way. This training will walk you through the essential steps to build a professional online presence, from setting up your website structure and adding content to maintaining and updating it regularly. Whether you're starting from scratch or improving an existing site, this webinar will help you manage your showcase with confidence.

Agora Website Training Summary – 15 May 2025

This training session focused on how university alliances can create, manage, and customise websites using the Agora platform. The session was led by Alba Roma Gomez and supported by Farnaz Haji Mohammadali.

Key Topics Covered:

  • Website Module Overview
    Participants learned how to use the  website module to manage multiple sites within a single instance. Showcases (mini-sites) can be created for specific projects, offering flexibility for alliances.

  • Creating & Editing Pages
    Users can:

    • Add new pages, blogs, events, and forums.

    • Use drag-and-drop blocks to build and customise page layouts.

    • Adjust themes, colours, fonts, and general style settings.

  • Landing Page Limitations
    The default landing page is custom-developed by the aUPaEU team and cannot be edited directly in website.

  • Embedding Content
    Pages can include embedded videos, images, documents, or external tools (like document viewers) using block or HTML code.

  • Contact Forms & CRM Integration
    Contact forms can be configured to:

    • Require user login before submission.

    • Automatically create CRM entries and route inquiries to designated teams or managers.

  • Publishing & Visibility Settings
    Pages can be:

    • Scheduled for publishing.

    • Restricted by login, group, or password.

    • Hidden or displayed based on user status (logged in/out).

  • Creating New Showcases
    New websites (showcases) can be requested, and the aUPaEU team will configure the domain and base design. Content management and styling then follow the same process as the main site.

  • Embedding Agora in External Sites
    Pages from Agora (e.g., catalogues) can be embedded in external alliance websites via iframes, with options to remove headers/footers for seamless integration.

  • Upcoming Sessions
    Future webinars will cover event and forum modules.
